In the bustling ambiance of Mary Jane 2023, we finally met Bobby "La Bomba", a creative individual deeply entrenched in the cannabis community with a knack for genetic experimentation and artistic expression. Having connected with him through Instagram, our encounter at the Fast Buds booth offered a chance to delve into his insights.
Formerly employed in assembly work, Bobby became a tattoo artist following a stint of unemployment. However, his enduring passion for cannabis remained steadfast, with previous forays into genetic manipulation showcasing his expertise in cultivation.
"I started growing twenty years ago. I've tried a few breeders and seed providers, and I've had both good and less favorable experiences with other providers before. I had never dealt with automatic strains until 2018, when I first encountered them."
As a matter of fact, autoflowers weren't as popular back then. But home growers knew their potential, and autoflowers slowly started to win their hearts over.
“At that time, it was new territory for me, and I had little experience with automatic varieties. I was recommended by a friend who attended the Mary Jane Expo in Berlin that year and was completely thrilled. Through him, I ordered my first Fast Buds and was pleasantly surprised and entirely happy after the first harvest. Both the quantity and the quality have stuck with me since then, and in the meantime, I won't try any other genetics. You could say I've reached the end of my search for the perfect breeder in the market for me. Adding to that, Sebastian and Heather provided invaluable help. This wouldn't have been possible with anyone else.“
When prompted about his opinion on Fast Buds, Bobby's response was -
“It's the only Genetic company that is worth it right now. Often companies promise you big things and they can't fulfill them or the quality is just not on point. Overall Fast Buds just has great Strains with amazing Terpene profiles. They taste like described, which is often not the case with other breeders.”

“Without growing cannabis, I don't think I would have recovered from burnout. Growing gives me the peace and strength to look into the future and to put less pressure on myself than in the past. I always saw it as a secondary avenue, and I have now realized that this path is much better for me. Even if I continue to struggle with persecution in Germany, I have made the decision to stay on this path and to distance myself from negative factors more than before.”

“My favorite strain is Strawberry Gorilla. She is a 10/10 - fast to grow, perfect for beginners and pros alike. The terpene profile is nearly perfect for me. It's so fruity and delicious, like ice cream on a 30°C day in the sun. Strong, but not too strong, for a perfectly fun and chill evening. It helps me a lot with my depression"
